We are not an ex journalist mass market media training company.


The Primedia approach is unique in that it addresses media crisis management through the eyes of the interviewee using highly experienced individuals with a proven track record in tough interview situations such Radio 4 Today Programme and Panorama.

The focus is on defining the agenda and running the interview on terms set by the interviewee, not the interviewer ensuring key messages are landed, and reputationally damaging scenarios are avoided.

Time is spent on understanding the perceptions and expectations of different audiences across the range of media channels, and how best to position the approach to land the messages effectively.

Reference is also made to a wide range of media interviews to demonstrate the effectiveness of different techniques.

The techniques rehearsed, the candidates then undertake down the line interviews conducted by mainstream TV and radio interviewers, who will have been researcher briefed but will be conducting interviews as part of their daily work flow and on exactly the same terms as other interviews.

Different interviewers are used for each interview.

Studio environments are mocked up at the client’s chosen location, using broadcast camera, ear piece and head phone conditions to create as near life experiences as possible.

All TV and radio interviews are recorded and edited, with sound bite news extracts.
Print interviews are fully written up as mainstream articles.

All are then reviewed with the client.
